Abstract Holdings of vehicles in Korea have been increased rapidly since the 70’s like other electric appliances. Gradually, disposal of vehicles has an impact on the environment and the reverse supply chain of a End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) parts. Reverse supply chain means return flows of used parts from consumers. ELVs are heavyweight complex wastes which consist of metals, plastics, glass, rubber and fluids. Because they’re composed of approximately 20,000 parts, It’s difficult to dismantle and recover.
The goal of this thesis is to suggest of a reverse supply chain, that reduces the wastes of ELV parts. In this reverse supply chain, the vehicle manufacturers play an important role.
