| Abstract | This paper presented an intelligent AGV dispatching strategy in Automated Manufacturing System. The proposed dispatching strategy selects optimal AGVs by mathematical model in time window. The AGV dispatching is activated by two kinds of system status. The one is a system status with potential requests, the other is system status with existing requests. Based on this system status, the dispatching strategy considering an idle AGVs and working AGVs was presented. Finally, this paper illustrated the dispatching strategy with two examples. This dispatching strategy is suitable for dynamic environment and easy to develop the AGV supervisory controller having the ability to make and efficient decision. |
