| Abstract | We need to predict or decide the state of bowing process so that we may achieve automation of BOF bowing process. The numerical model is useful tool in understanding and controlling this process. However, most of steel making process is very complex so some parts are not to be explained numerically. The numerical model is limited, as worker´s know-how fill up a gap. the present numerical model systems can´t cope with the rumbling management conditions, for finding a way out of difficulties, so we have to establish hybrid control system which bind the numerical model and expert system. In this study, we extract principal factors for BOF bowing control using data analysis, and develop BOF bowing control model using neural networks and case-based reasoning. And new models are better than old models about 25% |
