| abstract | Scheduling under uncertainty is related to manu issues. One of these is the effect of variance on scheduling performance. The sources of variance are many; e.g. setup, processing, resource maintenance or breakdown, etc. This study first evaluates the effect of variance on scheduling performance. And then possible solutions to deal with variance are investigated. |
