abstract This study aims to find out the status of the checkup services in general hospital and improve them through simulation method. In general, medical checkup center tends to be crowded when the deadline nears and also in May which has many family days. As a result, waiting time for inspecting in certain period increases and customer’s complaint also increases. It also causes the overtime work of hospital employees causing additional expenses. The purpose of this study is to find out the bottleneck process regarding the scenario and optimize the checkup service by changing the inspection process. For this we analyzed the inspection data and variety of input resources. And we also measured the average processing time for each inspection process. By this, we developed an inspection process flow chart and deduce the expected inspection time and optimized resource utilization depending on the scenario. The simulation software used in this study is AnyLogic University 6.9.0.
