abstract 지난 10년간(’05～’14년) 전력 소비량은 연평균 4.1%의 증가율을 보이며, 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 이에 따른 전력수급 문제를 해결하기 위해, 정부는 최대한 원전 설비를 줄이고, 친환경적인 신재생 에너지 설비를 구축하는 계획을 추진하고 있다. 특히 서울시에서는 ‘14년 기준 4.2%의 낮은 전력 자립률의 제고를 위해 태양광 발전 보급을 확산하는 정책을 펼치고 있다. 하지만 현재 그 보급률이 3.5%로 상당히 낮으며, 앞으로도 그 비중이 크지 않을 것으로 전망된다.
본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션 연구를 통해 서울 내에서 생산 가능한 태양광 발전량의 최대치와 최소치를 산출함으로써 전력 자립률에 기여도를 추정하고자 한다. 태양광 발전의 최신 기술 동향과 일조량, 온도 등 다양한 변수와 시나리오를 통하여 발전량을 예측하고 경제성을 평가하고자 한다. 결과적으로 이 연구를 통해 태양광 발전 보급 확산과 원전줄이기 정책에 도움이 될 것이라 기대한다.
