abstract 본 연구는 제조 현장의 재스케줄링 문제를 다룬다. 현장에서 여러 가지 변동 요인(기계 ․ 파레트 고장, 가공물의 지연도착, 추가가공 등)으로 인해 최초의 스케줄이 변경되는 것은 불가피 하다. 그러나 임의의 변경은 스케줄이 최초 의도했던 목적에 악영향을 미칠 수 있으므로 적절한 절차에 의해 재스케줄링이 이루어져야 한다.
그런데 재스케줄링을 어느 시점에서 수행하느냐에 따라 그 결과가 달라진다. 스케줄을 작성하기 위해서는 자원 및 가공물의 가용시점 등의 정보가 필요한데 이러한 정보는 일반적으로 변동 상황 발생 후 일정 시간이 경과한 뒤에 알 수 있기 때문에 재스케줄링은 이들 정보를 예측하여 이루어지거나 정보가 명확해질 때까지 재스케줄링을 연기해야 한다. 그러나 전자는 예측이 빗나갔을 경우 손실이 발생하고 후자는 지연된 시간만큼 개선의 여지를 잃어버리게 된다.
한편 감지(sensing) 기술과 변동이력 관리의 진보는 변동 상황 해석과 변동 영향 예측의 신뢰도를 크게 향상시키고 있다(Park et al.(2010)). 작업장으로부터 실시간으로 전달되는 변동 정보를 활용함으로써 변동 상황 발생시점에서 새로운 스케줄로 대응하는 것이 가능하며, 객관적인 정보의 활용으로 잘못된 예측의 위험을 작업자의 주관적인 판단보다 크게 낮출 수 낮다.
Fig. 1은 변동 예측 기술이 스케줄링에서 어떻게 활용되는지 보여준다. 각각의 기계 및 파레트, 운송장치에는 센서가 부착되어 있어 신호를 컨트롤러에 전달한다. 컨트롤러는 작업의 진행상황을 모니터링하는데 이상 신호가 감지되면 패턴 데이터베이스의 저장된 신호 패턴과 비교하여 변동 내용을 규명한다. 변동 내용이 규명되면 과거 이력을 조회하여 예측 정보를 생성하고 시스템의 현재상황정보와 함께 스케줄러에 전달한다. 스케줄러는 컨트롤러로부터 받은 정보에 따라 재스케줄링 시점을 결정하고 재스케줄링을 수행한다. 마지막으로 컨트롤러는 스케줄러로부터 재스케줄을 정보를 받아 변동 상황에 대응하게 된다.
스케줄러는 컨트롤러로부터 전달되는 상황 정보와 예측 정보를 처리하는 매커니즘을 가지고 있어야 한다. 하지만 기존 연구는 기계 고장으로 인한 변동만을 다루고 있으며 현장의 다양한 변동의 특징을 반영하는 재스케줄링 매커니즘을 제시하지 못하고 있다.
또한 재스케줄링 시점은 예측 기술의 수준 또는 예측 정보의 정확도에 따라 달라지는데 기존의 연구는 확정적, 비확정적 변동 상황 하에서 변동발생시점만을 재스케줄링 시점으로 고려하고 있다.(Azizoglu and Alagoz(2005)) 예측 기술에 따라 재스케줄링 시점이 어떻게 달라지는지 예측 기술 수준의 변화가 스케줄 성능에 미치는 영향은 무엇인지 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 후자를 중심으로 살펴보았다.
본 연구에서는 변동 정보를 스케줄링에서 어떻게 활용할 것인가를 살펴본다. 또 예측 기술 수준별로 시나리오를 설정하고 각각의 경우 재스케줄링 시점과 스케줄링 성능이 어떻게 달라지는지 살펴본다.
