| Abstract | This paper deals with the problems of the production scheduling of dedicated Flexible Manufacturing Systems. This system consists of versatile machines which can perform many different types of operations. The conveyor is used as a Material Handling System. A new mathematical formulation considering buffer capacity and alternative routings is proposed and two heuristic algorithms which can real-time scheduling are suggested. Simple examples are illustrated to demonstrate the validity of these two proposed algorithms. |
